WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said the nuclear assets of Pakistan are in safe hands for the moment.She said this during an interview with a US television channel. Mrs. Clinton said US believes that the nuclear weapons of Pakistan are in a safe position at the time but due to rising threats being posed by Taliban to Islamabad, Pakistan’s nuclear weapons could fall in hands of militants.Hillary was of the view that US has voiced serious concerns before the government of Pakistan in this respect but she also hinted at threats of nuclear attacks from Pakistan Taliban if Pakistan ruling elements failed to counter militancy in their country.
