SEOUL: U. S. State Department, South Korea and Japan officials have confirmed North Korea’s rocket launch into the space, while the UN Security Council on Japan’s meeting this afternoon emergently for mulling over the aftermath situation of the rocket launch.U.S. and South Korea officials said that the North Korea provocative rocket launch took place Sunday morning at local time 11.30 A.M Japan strongly condemning North Korea’s long-range missile test said that this missile shooting over Japan fell in the pacific. A statement issued from the Japanese prime minister office said that North Korea missile passed over Japan and fell in the Japanese sea. This test was dangerous, as North Korea could target Japan through it, said the statement. North Korea said that it has sent it has sent a satellite into the space, while the U.S claimed that Pyongyang has tested long-range missile, which has the capability of targeting U.S. territories.
