ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Sherry Rehman has reportedly resigned due to differences with President over the blockage of Geo News transmission in parts of country, Geo News reported on Saturday. However, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has not accepted her resignation thus far, sources added.Meanwhile, Secretary Information Ashfaq Gondal said, “I have no information in regards with Sherry Rehman’s resignation.”It is pertinent to note that Federal Minister Raza Rabbani had resigned over the differences of nomination of Farooq H. Naik for chairman Senate.
